Demi Lovato And Ex-Boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama Havent Been In Each Others Lives In A
During her new interview for Harper’s Bazaar, Demi Lovato revealed that she has not spoken to her ex, Wilmer Valderrama in a really long time. But while they are not ‘in each other’s lives,’ she stressed that she wishes him ‘nothing but the best’ now that he is engaged to Amanda Pacheco.
It really sounds like the singer has been putting the past behind her and that also means letting go and moving on from her failed relationship as well.
She and the actor were together from 2010 to 2016 but things just did not work out and they ended things.
Back in January, Valderrama proposed to Amanda Pacheco and Demi made it very clear that she is not bitter about that at all.
In fact, she wishes the happy couple the best!
‘I’m really happy for him and wish him nothing but the best, but we are not in each other’s lives, have not spoken in a long time. But I think that I needed that because I needed to learn to just be okay on my own. When you get into a relationship with someone at that young of an age and then you spend 6 years with somebody, you do not really get to learn about yourself,’ the star told the news outlet.
Demi and Wilmer started seeing each other when she was only 18 while he was 30 or so.
Their relationship was really strong for the time they were together and even after their breakup in 2016, there were rumors that he still played a huge role in her battle with addiction.
Demi is currently dating Max Ehrich from The Young and The Restless and they have even been in quarantine together amid the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

She has also previously discussed her ‘fluid’ sexuality as well as mentioned that ‘I don’t know what my future will look like, and I am open to anything. People always ask me, ‘What is your type?’ And I’m like, ‘Have you seen my history?’ There’s no type. It is solely off connection.’
