How to Complete a Watery Wonder Quest in Fae Farm
To complete A Watery Wonder in Fae Farm, you will need to reach the bottom floor of the saltwater mines and collect the following materials:
- 5x Steamed Fish
- 3x Sardines
- 20x Diced Roots
- 10x Sand Dollars
- 10x Corals
Overall, some of these items are tricky to get, since they’ll require using some special crafting stations that you may not have used until now.
Let’s examine how to get each item in turn, as well as how to craft the required crafting stations.
How to Get Steamed Fish in Fae Farm
To get Steamed Fish in Fae Farm, craft a Cooking Hearth station and a Food Prep Table. Use the Food Prep Table to convert Fish into Fish Fillets and Arugula into Fresh Greens. Then, combine these two into a Steamed Fish via the Cooking Hearth.
If you don’t have a Food Prep Table, you can craft it with 1x Beech Lumber, 1x Copper Ingot, 2x Stone Brick, and 1x Oak Lumber.
Any fish can be converted to Fish Fillets, including common fish and sardines.
Craft the Cooking Hearth with 2x Beech Lumber, 3x Stone Brick, 3x Clay Brick, and 2x Copper Ingot. Then, you’ll be able to cook a Steamed Fish with 1x Fish Fillet and 2x Fresh Greens at the Cooking Hearth.
How to Get Sardines and Diced Roots in Fae Farm
To get sardines, go fishing in the Ocean and look for pink-colored fish that are slightly smaller than common fish. While they are harder to catch than common fish, you can still catch them with the basic fishing rod.
As for Diced Roots, you can get them by growing Turnips (buy seeds from the market and plant them) and then using them at the Food Prep Table. Each Turnip will grant you 2x Diced Roots, so you’ll need 10x Turnips in total.
How to Get Coral and Sand Dollars
Lastly, coral and sand dollars are easy to collect. To get Coral and Sand Dollars in Fae Farm, scavenge the beach and you’ll be able to pick them up from there.
Overall, any beach will do, including the beach near the lighthouse where Ben is and the beach just outside the mines.
After one or two trips there, you’ll have 10 of each and will be able to complete this quest.
With everything collected, hand over the items to Neppy and you’ll unlock your first magic spell.
